Service Description
The extended follow up appointment is designed for patients who would benefit from a little more time and a slower pace. This appointment is ideal if you: Would like additional treatment time Have several areas you wish to focus on in one session Are moving through a complex or evolving health picture Would like more space to talk things through in depth Are at a point in care where reflection refinement or adjustment is needed With more time available, we can gently explore what has shifted since your last visit and respond accordingly. This may include longer acupuncture treatment time, more detailed discussion around symptoms or pathology, or thoughtful refinement of your naturopathic plan. As with all follow up appointments, care remains grounded in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and naturopathic principles and is always tailored to your individual needs on the day.
Cancellation Policy
We value your time, our time & the service that we provide. Unfortunately the services we offer are not like a physio/chiro/beautician where your appointment might only be 20 minutes – we block out 1 hour for a follow-up consult and 2 hours for an initial consult. So last minute cancellations cost us dearly if we are unable to re-fill the appointment. So in order to be able to afford to continue operating we must strictly enforce our cancellation policy. We ask that you provide us with as much notice as possible when canceling or rescheduling, however a MINIMUM of 24 hours notice for canceling (or rescheduling) of appointments is necessary to avoid cancellation fees. For cancellations, or rescheduling, with less than 24 hours notice clients will be charged 80% of a normal appointment cost by way of a cancellation fee. For bookings with vouchers, please note cancellation fees will be deducted from the value of the voucher as per the above description where applicable. Where the booking is canceled or rescheduled with less than 3 hours’ notice, or where a client is a no-show for the appointment, a cancellation fee of 100% of the full appointment cost will be charged.
